Training and professional development is an important part of the work the Child Care Resource Center does in improving the quality of early care and learning programs. A strong and qualified workforce is vital to the level of care and education provided to young children and their families. When childcare providers and teachers know more about health and safety, child development, curriculum, teaching methods and interactions, there is a positive impact on a child’s growth and learning.
The Child Care Resource Center’s training serves a diverse field of professionals working with young children. Our training and professional development programs are delivered through various methods on a wide range of topics. Our training help meet state licensing requirements, achieve higher levels of Step Up to Quality, and earn national credentials or college-level credit.
In addition to training, the Child Care Resource Center can help early care and learning professionals in setting or reaching professional development goals, creating professional development plans, and obtaining certification or credentials.
